deacons
The firm commitment of the Deacons is to work toward the attainment of excellence in
the fulfillment of our assigned ministry. The Deacons see themselves as servants of Jesus Christ
and lay assistants to our pastor. The Deacons efforts will be for the general welfare and spiritual
well-being of the St. Paul Baptist Church. They promise to never be a hindrance to the pastor or
to see themselves as his supervisors, but we are chosen to pray for him and to be deacons who
uphold the pastor's arms.
