The firm commitment of the Deacons is to work toward the attainment of excellence in the fulfillment of our assigned ministry.
We see ourselves as servants of Jesus Christ and lay assistants to our pastor. Our efforts will be for the general welfare and spiritual well-being of the St. Paul Baptist Church family.
We promise to never be a hinderance to the pastor or to see ourselves as his supervisors but we are chosen to pray for him and to be deacons who uphold the pastor's arms.
The Deaconess's office is one in which competent dedicated women serve the Lord and His people through providing spiritual and physical care and instruction in faith and love.
The mission of the Deaconess Ministry of the St. Paul Baptist Church is to continue a ministry of servant bond while supporting the Pastor and Deacons in fostering peace, love and Christian unity in the church and the community. We embrace the two ordinances of the Baptist church namely, Baptism and Holy Communion.
DUTIES OF OUR DEACONESS:
Take care of the Physical Arrangements for Baptism.
Brief candidates regarding appropriate clothing and supplies.
Instruct candidates regarding Baptism and Holy Communion.
Make certain that linens and gloves are clean and available.
Prepare the Holy Communion Table.
Greet church members and visitors.
Pray with choir before service.
Telephone and visit sick and shut-ins.
WE SERVE NOT TO BE SEEN, BUT THAT OTHERS MAY SEE CHRIST IN US
As gospel music is a celebration of The Word, so shall the ministry of the choir be of exhalation and praise-a testimony to the goodness, majesty, power and glory of God.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Psalms 100:2
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to provide spiritual growth to the youth of the St. Paul Baptist Church as well as the youth of the community.
To teach Youth to be obedient to God's law.
THESE CHILDREN ARE ROOTED AND ESTABLISHED LOVE: WE PRAY THAT THEY MAY HAVE POWER WITH ALL THE SAINTS TO GRASP HOW WIDE AND LONG AND DEEP IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST TOWARDS THEM, AND TO KNOW THIS LOVE THAT SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY MAY BE FILLED TO THE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell on the tents of wickedness. Psalms 64:10
A good usher is like "a city set upon a hill" Matthew 5:14. They become landmarks to church goers who learn to depend upon them. They provide stability and a sense of welcome repose. They are a source of church information. Ushers are like a lamp on a stand, not put "under a bushel but on a candlestick: and it giveth light unto all that are in the house" Matthew 5:15. Lamps bring warmth and welcome to all who are in the room. They dispel darkness and bring emotional warmth.
